The construction will be done under the mountain range project.

Principal Secretary, Forest, and PWD, RK Sudhanshu said on Thursday that the National Board of Wild Animals has approved the construction of a ropeway in the Kedarnath Sanctuary area. Along with this, the board has also given the green signal to Kedarnath’s foot track and Hemkund Sahib ropeway project. These projects will be constructed under the Parivarama Project of the Central Government. A total of 26 hectares of land will be acquired in this project.
