Black box of M17 helicopter found, the secret of Coonoor accident will be revealed

The data recorder of the M17 helicopter of the Indian Air Force that crashed near Coonoor was found on Thursday morning. Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika and 11 other armed personnel lost their lives in this helicopter crash.

Meanwhile, a six-member special medical team from Coimbatore has reached for the treatment of Group Captain Varun Singh, the only survivor of the Coonoor helicopter crash. He is fighting for his life at Wellington Army Hospital. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, who was present in the Nilgiris, has already told the army team that the Tamil Nadu government will help in the treatment of Group Captain Varun Singh.

Wellington sources said that group captain Varun Singh, who is awarded the Shaurya Chakra, suffered 60 per cent burns during the helicopter crash. Group Captain Varun Singh can also give information about this accident. Ravikumar, the first person to reach the accident site, had told that except two people, the bodies of all the soldiers were burnt. In this helicopter of the Indian Air Force, there were 14 people including General Rawat and his wife.
