Uttarakhand: Robbery in two petrol pumps

In Uttarakhand, there has been an incident of robbery in the petrol pump in the last 24 hours. After Roorkee late on Monday evening, miscreants robbed a petrol pump in Bajpur on the strength of a gun. The miscreants are absconding with the cash.

In Uttarakhand, in the last 24 hours, miscreants looted two petrol pumps each after using a gun. The first incident took place in Roorkee in Haridwar district, where the miscreants looted the manager by showing him a gun. Whereas, the second incident took place in Bajpur, US Nagar. The dacoits looted 70 thousand cash by taking the employee hostage at the tip of the gun.

The dacoits fled through the fields after seeing the people who had come to get the oil pumped. As soon as the information about the robbery was received, there was a stir in the police. ASP Chandramohan Singh, CO Vandana Verma, Kotwal Praveen Koshyari, who arrived in a hurry, interrogated the employee and put teams to nab the dacoits. 

According to the information received, the petrol pump located on the Doraha UP border has been taken on contract by Kartar Singh, resident of Ward No. 4 Gandhinagar on April 5 itself. Two workers are employed on this pump for 24 hours. On Monday, Dharamveer resident Lakhanpur and Rohit resident Semal Ladpur UP were on duty at the pump but Rohit had gone on leave, so Dharamveer was alone.

At around 1:40 pm, three youths entered through the field behind them, with weapons. A youth stood outside while two youths entered the cabin and took the employee Dharamveer present there on the tip of a gun, took him hostage and robbed the cash of about 70 thousand kept in the galley.

At the same time, three youths reached the pump to get the oil pumped, seeing that the dacoits fled from there. The three youths rescued the hostage Dharamveer and informed the police about the incident. There was a stir after the information. In a hurry, all the officers reached the spot and they searched in search of the dacoits but they were not found.

After this the police questioned Dharamveer. ASP Chandramohan Singh said that there was information about the robbery at the pump, on which he reached the spot. Information about the incident is being gathered, soon the accused will be caught.

Whereas, in Roorkee, bike-riding miscreants robbed about thirty thousand cash from a petrol pump on the strength of a gun. The miscreants fled after the robbery. In search of the miscreants, the police of many police stations conducted a checking campaign. The miscreants have not yet caught the hands of the police. Saket Colony Roorkee resident Nitin Goyal has a petrol pump in Jahajgarh under Bhagwanpur police station area.

On Monday evening, he got a call from the manager of the pump, Harendra. While talking on the phone between the two, the sound of Harendra’s shouting came. After this the manager’s phone got disconnected. After some time the manager’s phone again came to the pump owner. It was told that four miscreants had come riding on the same bike.
