Uttarakhand Parade ground illuminated with 1.25 lakh lamps

Passion is visible among the people regarding the Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha ceremony. Today, 1.25 lakh lamps in the name of Ram were lit in Uttarakhand. On Monday, along with the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya, a Ram temple built on the lines of Ram temple will be established and worshiped in Dehradun also.

Rashmi Khatri, Dehradun: There is a festive atmosphere across the country regarding the consecration ceremony of Shri Ram Temple. Just as the city of Ayodhya is filled with Ram, similarly in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, the festival of consecration of Ramlala’s new temple is being celebrated with great pomp.

In the presence of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, 1.25 lakh lamps in the shape of Jai Shri Ram and bow were lit at the parade ground on Sunday evening. This unforgettable moment became a very beautiful sight through the drone. CM Dhami sat on the ground along with the general public and lit the lamp and wished all the people for the consecration of the Ram temple.

During this time, CM Dhami absorbed in Ram’s devotion and also sang Ram Bhajans. Preparations for the program have been going on since the afternoon under the supervision of the district administration at the Parade Ground in Dehradun. District Officer Sonika Chief Development Officer Jharna Kamthan and other officers were themselves preparing for the program by being present on the spot.

Along with the administrative staff, the general public chanted Jai Shri Ram and Dhanush at the parade ground. They made shapes of lamps decorated them and lit them late in the evening. People kept dancing for hours to Ram Bhajan in the DJ set up at the parade ground. There is so much enthusiasm among the people regarding the consecration of the Ram temple that when people started dancing in the afternoon, it continued till late evening. Even small children joined this crowd. I was seen dancing with enthusiasm. During this, the parade ground and the surrounding area echoed with slogans of Jai Shri Ram. Late in the evening, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached the parade ground and lit lamps sitting on the ground.

During this time, he went among the people and wished everyone for the consecration of Ram temple and went to Ram Bhajan with them. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that we all are getting the good fortune of witnessing this auspicious occasion of Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha. Dhami said that a large number of mothers and sisters have expressed their faith in Lord Ram by making the Deep Utsav program successful. On the other hand, the district administration at Ghantaghar, which is called the heart of Dehradun, A laser light show is being organized in which various forms of Lord Ram are being shown. In the evening, bhajans are being presented using big screens. Here too, many people are seen dancing to Ram Bhajans in the evening. During the Lord Ram Shobha Yatra organized today afternoon in Dehradun, Madhu Bhatt, Vice President of Culture, Literature and Arts Council, said that the People are extremely fortunate to get the opportunity to witness the consecration ceremony of Lord Rama. During this, status holder Madhu Bhatt and Rajpur Road MLA Khajan Das also inaugurated the procession.
