Uttarakhand News: It was difficult for Trivendra Singh Rawat, the former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, when his convoy and people were stopped by an elephant on Wednesday evening. He had to save his life by climbing a cliff. By adopting aerial fire and other methods, the forest personnel chased the elephant out of the way after half an hour’s effort.

In fact, the former CM was coming from Pauri to Kotdwar between Kotdwar-Dugadda. Between five and six o’clock in the evening, an elephant suddenly came on the road from the forest near Tut Gadera. Because of this, the convoy of the former CM stopped. For some time the former PM sat in his car. But when the elephant started coming closer to his convoy, he left his companions’ carts and climbed the hill.

Due to the elephant, there was a jam of vehicles on the road. Trivendra Rawat’s companion Prithviraj Chauhan got injured while trying to climb the hill after getting out of the vehicle. When the forest officials got the news of the elephant being an attacker, there was a stir in the department. In a hurry, the forest staff somehow sent the elephant towards the forest by firing crackers and aerial fire. When the convoy of the former CM passed through the highway, then the forest workers breathed a sigh of relief.
