Once again a tiger has attacked two youths riding a bike in Ramnagar. Both the injured are undergoing treatment in the hospital. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area after the incident.

Uttarakhand Tiger Attack: Tiger attacks are not stopping in Uttarakhand. Today around 11 am, a tiger attacked two bike riders, in both the bike riders were injured. After the local people raised an alarm, the tiger left the two and ran away, otherwise, a major incident could have happened again today.  

In various rural areas of Ramnagar and Kumaon, villagers are forced to live a life of constant terror due to the terror of tigers and leopards. After the continuous attacks by the tiger, the anger of the villagers is continuously increasing against the forest department. On Saturday morning, again the tiger attacked and injured two youths riding a bike near the forest post at Hathi Dagar in Aam Pokhara range under Terai Western Forest Prabhat.

When the bike-riding youth and another bike-riding youth passing by the spot raised the alarm, the tiger injured two people and ran away toward the forest. Earlier, a tiger had killed a woman in the Hathi Dagar area. In the same area, a young man named Ankit was attacked by a tiger and seriously injured. Whose treatment is going on?

To stop these incidents from happening continuously in rural areas, the villagers are continuously agitating for the capture of the tiger, but to date, the villagers have not gotten any relief. The youth injured in the latest attack have been identified as 24-year-old Dharmesh Kumar and Jitendra Prasad, residents of Chandra Nagar Maldhan Chaud.  

Injured youth admitted to hospital

Both were going to their home on the bike from Ramnagar. Meanwhile, a tiger suddenly attacked and injured him near the Hathi Dagar forest post. After the incident, there is an atmosphere of panic in this area. Both the injured have been admitted to the government hospital in Ramnagar for treatment. In this regard, Ranger Puran Singh Khanayat of Aam Pokhara Range said that the patrolling of employees has been increased in this area and he has appealed to the villagers not to go alone. 

This is the condition not only of Ramnagar but of the entire Kumaon. Where tiger and leopard attacks are increasing in many areas, generally, these attacks increase more in the cold season. During this time there is a meeting period for these animals. The forest department also appeals to the people not to go to the forest during this period and also to keep their animals away from the forest.
