Mussoorie Winterline Carnival Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was seen cycling on the streets of Dehradun in the early hours of Tuesday. The occasion was to organize a cycle rally under the Mussoorie Winter Line Carnival. The Chief Minister inaugurated the rally.

Team Jagran, Dehradun: Mussoorie Winterline Carnival: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was seen cycling on the streets of Dehradun in the early hours of Tuesday. During this, he also gave the mantra to the youth to stay fit. The occasion was to organize a cycle rally under the Mussoorie Winter Line Carnival. During this, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the rally.

Inauguration of cycle rally under Mussoorie Winter Carnival

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the cycle rally under the Mussoorie Winter Carnival from the Chief Minister’s Camp Office on Tuesday. The Chief Minister said that the Mussoorie Winter Carnival is a festival to promote tourism. A cycle rally is being organized to attract tourists. This cycle rally will be from Dehradun to Mussoorie. During this, the Chief Minister himself also cycled.

The Chief Minister said that the natural beauty of Uttarakhand attracts tourists. Continuous efforts are being made by the state government to promote tourism. Road, air, and rail connectivity is expanding rapidly in the state. New tourist destinations are being developed in the state.

On this occasion, District Magistrate Dehradun Mrs. Sonika, Additional District Magistrate Mr. KK Mishra, District Tourism Officer Mr. Jaspal Chauhan, and District Commandant Home Guard Dr. Rahul Sachan were present.

Chief Minister Dhami rewarded meritorious girl students

Earlier, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami felicitated Varsha Sunal and Anjali Arya, meritorious girl students of Govind Ballabh Pant Inter College Bhowali and GGIC Bhowali at Chief Minister Camp Office on Monday.

The Chief Minister awarded Rs 5,000 each to girl students for securing the best marks in class 10th in their respective schools under the Swa Heera Vallabh Kandpal Devki Devi Award.

Wishing the girl students a bright future, the Chief Minister said that their hard work and dedication will work to inspire other girl students as well. The Chief Minister also described the efforts of the directors of the Late Hira Vallabh Kandpal Devki Devi Award as an effort to promote girl child education.
