Kanwar Yatra 2022: Registration is mandatory for Kanwariyas

Kanwar Yatra 2022: The Kanwar Yatra started Thursday, July 14. Dharmanagari is ready to welcome crores of Kanwariyas who reach Haridwar from different states. A large number of Kanwariyas have also reached Haridwar. Along with Kanwar, the month of Sawan is also beginning. A traffic plan will also be implemented from Thursday night.

Heavy vehicles on the highway will be closed during the day. The Kanwar Yatra will end on July 26.DIG Dr. Yogendra Singh Rawat told that from July 14 to 19, heavy vehicles will be closed only between 12 pm and 5 am. Heavy vehicles will be completely stopped on Haridwar, Delhi, and Haridwar Dehradun highway from 20 to the end of the fair. A traffic plan will be implemented as soon as the congestion increases for small vehicles.

Haridwar Police has appealed to the Kanwariyas to come to Haridwar after registering on the portal and giving information in the police station and Kotwali of their area. Along with this, an appeal has also been made to make a list of the Kanwariyas who come with them. Dak Kanwaris are expected to arrive on 22nd July. District Magistrate Vinay Shankar Pandey told that the preparations for the journey have been completed.

300 policemen will be on duty
During the Kanwar Yatra, 300 policemen will be on duty in the Munikireti area. Police personnel will also keep a close watch on suspicious people. The route was prepared for pedestrians to reach the Neelkanth temple. Pedestrians will go to Neelkanth after crossing the Ramjhula bridge. While the passengers will return from Janki bridge.

In a press conference at the campsite located near Solani Park, Sachin Gupta, patron of Har Har Mahadev Kanwar Seva Dal, told that the camp will be started on July 16 in which breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be arranged for eight to ten thousand Kanwariyas every day.

President Kamal Chawla said that no cash assistance is being taken from anyone for this camp. The main 12 members of the organization are running this camp with mutual cooperation.
