From today, people above 18 years will get a free booster dose in Uttarakhand

In Uttarakhand, people above 18 years will be given free precaution doses from Friday. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has appealed to the people to cooperate by getting a booster dose.

In Uttarakhand, people above the age of 18 will be given free preconception doses from Friday. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami appealed to the people to apply precautionary dosage. He said that vaccination is the biggest weapon in the fight against the corona epidemic. All people above the age of 18 across the state have to cooperate by being a part of the anti-coronavirus Precaution Dose campaign. 

He said that in the last two years, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country fought the corona epidemic firmly. Under his leadership, a great campaign for covid Vaccination was launched in India. Along with this, the work of distributing the vaccine to many countries of the world was also done. The CM said that the corona epidemic has definitely reduced across the state, but it is not over.

99 new patients were found in Uttarakhand, and two died

On Thursday, 99 new corona patients were found in Uttarakhand and two infected people died.23 patients recovered after treatment, after which the number of active patients across the state has increased to 456. Whereas, the rate of corona infection has gone up to 6.19 percent. According to the Health Department, reports of 1501 patients came from various hospitals on Thursday.

Vaccination Instructions

Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat instructed Director General of Health Dr. Shailja Bhatt to start the vaccination campaign expeditiously. He said that Uttarakhand has to be included among the leading states in the matter of preconception dosage also. Therefore, vaccination should be done by making more and more booths. Here, Director-NHM Dr. Saroj Naithani said that from July 15, the precaution dose will be administered to those people above the age of 18 in all hospitals, who have completed 26 weeks after applying the second dose. Private hospitals were charging Rs 386 per dose of precaution dose.

Minister will inaugurate the festival in Doon today

A free booster dose campaign will start for people above 18 from Friday across the district. Kovid Vaccination Amrit Mahotsav will be run from July 15 to 30.CMO Dr. Manoj Upreti, District Immunization Officer Dr. Vandana Semwal, Kovin Portal District In-charge Dr. Aditya Singh, and Deputy District Immunization Officer Yagyadev Thapliyal have issued guidelines to the officers of all hospitals and centers. Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat will launch it from Gandhi Hospital at 12 noon.
