Chardham Yatra 2022: Five pilgrims died in Badri-Kedar and Yamunotri due to heart attack

Chardham Yatra 2022: Five devotees have died in Badri-Kedar and Yamunotri due to heart attack. Three pilgrims have died in Kedarnath and one each in Badrinath and Yamunotri. The death toll due to heart attack in all four dhams including Rishikesh has reached 148.

Dialogue Associate, Rudraprayag: The number of people who died of heart attack in Char Dham is increasing continuously. Three pilgrims again died in Kedarnath on Tuesday. Whereas, one pilgrim each died in Badrinath and Yamunotri Dham.

With this, so far 66 pilgrims have died in Kedarnath, 34 in Yamunotri and 33 in Badrinath. Whereas, this number has reached 148 in all the four dhams including Rishikesh.

Three pilgrims died in Kedarnath

According to the information, on Tuesday in Kedarnath, Ukhni Devi (80), resident of Saptari (Nepal), Padali Raja (66) resident of Panna (Madhya Pradesh) and an unknown pilgrim died of heart attack.

The death of a devotee of Punjab in Badrinath Dham

At the same time, Sushil Kumar (66), a resident of Ferozepur (Punjab), was brought to the District Hospital Gopeshwar after his health suddenly deteriorated in Badrinath Dham. Where he died during treatment.

Devotees from Madhya Pradesh died in Yamunotri

At the same time, Ratiram, a resident of Ashok Nagar (Madhya Pradesh), who came to visit Yamunotri, died near Jankichatti. Ratiram had come alone on the journey.

A woman pilgrim from Madhya Pradesh, who came to Kedarnath Darshan, suddenly became ill in Lincholi yesterday. On this he was airlifted and sent to AIIMS Rishikesh.
