Why is there so much tension about the New CM face for Uttarakhand?

Political experts believe that the BJP central leadership does not want to make any haste in the formation of CM and cabinet. Therefore, he wants to hand over the command in the hands of a leader who has the ability to run the government for five years.

For the last nine days, the BJP central leadership’s search for a new Chief Minister of Uttarakhand has not been completed. The results of the five state elections were declared on 10 March. In Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Goa and Manipur, the BJP registered resounding victories. The faces of the chief ministers of three states have also been decided, but till now the suspense on Uttarakhand remains intact. The meeting of the party’s Legislature Board was also fixed today. The question is floating in the political winds that why is there so much tension in Uttarakhand about the CM face? The answer to this question was expected from the meeting of veteran leaders in Delhi. But the truth is that Union Home Minister Amit Shah, National President JP Nadda, National Organization General Secretary BL Santosh are busy in meetings and consultations.

Satpal Maharaj, who was in the race for the first CM post, met Amit ShahThe caretaker chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and the state BJP president have been called twice by the central leadership to Delhi. Both the leaders were called on Saturday also. Veteran leader Amit Shah held a meeting on Sunday. Former Chief Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat also attended the meeting. Earlier, Satpal Maharaj, who was in the race for the post of CM, met Amit Shah.

After the meeting of Shah, the four leaders of the state were consulted at Dr. Nishank’s residence. Even after these smoky meetings, the BJP leaders had nothing to say that could end the suspense over government formation and CM face. Was it the effect of Amit Shah’s instructions or the strategy of the organization, all the leaders also secretly gave their lips. There was a discussion in the BJP circles late in the evening that now PM Narendra Modi is taking the meeting. But even after this meeting, it is believed that the name of the new chief will be revealed only in the meeting of the Legislature Board to be held in Dehradun on Monday.

BJP does not want to hurry in selection
Political experts believe that the BJP central leadership does not want to hurry in the formation of CM and cabinet. He has been uncomfortable even before his decision to make three chief ministers. Therefore, he wants to hand over the command in the hands of a leader who has the ability to run the government for five years.

Screws trapped by Dhami’s defeat
Political experts say that in Uttarakhand, caretaker Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s election got screwed up. The party fought the election on Dhami’s face. Got a two-thirds majority by winning 47 seats. Had Dhami won the election, there would have been no dilemma for the central leadership. Today he is also worried that if Dhami won the election on his face, how could he be ignored?

Central leaders’ doubts
The central leadership of the BJP does not want to bet on a horse that cannot complete the race. He is looking for a face who can play the role of a facilitator between the Center and the state.

These four reasons are believed to be the reason for the delay – the
BJP central leadership wants to hand over the reins of power to such hands who can run the government efficiently for five years – who
has the art of taking everyone along and has the ability to rein in the administrative system
-Who continues the double engine speed and runs the government in such a way that BJP benefits in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections
-Who can strike a balance between the organization and the government. Has the ability to take the vision of PM Modi off the ground.
