Due to the code of conduct, students have not been able to get money for free tablets so far.

Students of colleges across the state will get money for tablets after March 10. According to the Director of Higher Education Dr. PK Pathak, all the colleges have been given money for this. There has been some delay due to the imposition of the model code of conduct. More than one lakh students of state colleges are to be given free tablets by the government.

After the earlier announcement, its process was started. Its budget was released to the colleges before the elections, but due to the code of conduct, the students have not been able to get money for free tablets so far. According to Dr. PK Pathak, Director of Higher Education, students will get money for free tablets as soon as the code of conduct is over.
