UKPSC Recruitment 2023

Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has increased the 108 posts in Assistant Accountant Recruitment. Earlier 662 Assistant Accountants were to be recruited which will now be for 770 posts. On the other hand, the State Public Service Commission has increased 47 new posts in the Jail Guard Examination after receiving the requisition from the government. 

208 new posts have been increased in two big recruitments of Group-C going on in the state. Releasing this information, the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission has opened the online application window again.

47 posts of jail guards increased
The State Public Service Commission has increased 47 new posts in the jail guards examination after receiving the requisition from the government. Earlier this recruitment was being done for 238 posts, which will now be for 285 posts. The new 47 posts are of reserve constables, including 24 for general, nine for SC, two for ST, seven for OBC, and five for EWS.

Only male candidates will be eligible for the increased posts. According to GS Rawat, Secretary of the Commission, the candidates who have already applied for this need not apply again. The online application window has been opened for fresh candidates till January 18. The rest of the conditions will be as per the notification issued on 15th November.

108 posts of assistant accountant increased, 53 new posts of auditor
Uttarakhand Public Service Commission has increased the 108 posts in assistant accountant recruitment. Earlier 662 Assistant Accountants were to be recruited which will now be for 770 posts. These include one in Town and Country Planning Department, ten in Training and Employment, two in Employees State Insurance Scheme, four in Cooperative Societies, one in Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Center for Training, and 90 posts in Forest Development Corporation.

At the same time, 53 posts of the auditor will be recruited through this exam, including 51 in audit, and two posts in the Directorate of Higher Education. According to Commission Secretary GS Rawat, those who had previously applied for Assistant Accountant and want to apply for Auditor also will have to cancel their earlier application and apply again. Those not interested in Audit need not apply again. The application window for this recruitment will also be open till January 13.  

Uttarakhand PCS Main Exam on 28 to 31 January
The State Public Service Commission will organize the Uttarakhand PCS Main Exam from 28 January to 31 January. Its admit cards will be issued on January 13. According to the commission’s secretary GS Rawat, the main examination will be held at various centers in Haridwar, Dehradun, and Haldwani. He told that the candidates will not be able to go wearing any type of watch. Check the exam center a day in advance, request for change will not be accepted. 

Assistant Registrar has written exam on February 7-8
On behalf of the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, the main examination will be held on February 7 and 8 under the recruitment of assistant registrars in the universities and Sanskrit education department of the state. Commission Secretary Girdhari Singh Rawat said that on February 7, there will be a general Hindi exam between 9 am and 12 noon, and general studies between 2 pm and 5 pm. On February 8, from 9 am to 12 noon, there will be an examination of financial rules and office procedures. The admit cards will be released on the website on January 23. 

JE Recruitment Interview on 16-17 January
State Public Service Commission Uttarakhand will conduct interviews for Irrigation Department, Minor Irrigation Department, Public Works Department, and Agriculture Service Class-1 on January 16 and 17 under Combined State Junior Engineer Service Examination. The commission has given this information while releasing the list of rejected candidates. Full details of the interview can be accessed on the website of the Commission.
