Cheapest Petrol In India: While the prices of petrol and diesel have started spoiling the budget of the people across the country, there is a city in India where the prices of petrol remain a relief. Fuel companies have not increased the price of petrol and diesel for almost 2 weeks. At present, the cheapest petrol in India is available in Port Blair, which costs Rs 91.45 per liter. On the other hand, India’s most expensive petrol is being sold in Parbhani, Maharashtra where the price is Rs 123.47 per liter. Talking about the capital Delhi, on Monday, the price of one liter of petrol here is Rs 105.41, while in Mumbai the price of petrol is Rs 120.51 per liter.

What are the prices of petrol and diesel in other cities

If we look at the price of diesel, Rs 96.67 per liter is being sold in the capital Delhi, while in Mumbai diesel has become Rs 104.77 per liter. In Kolkata, the price of petrol has reached 115.12 per liter, while diesel is being sold at Rs 99.83 per liter. The per liter prices of petrol and diesel in Chennai have come down to Rs 110.85 and Rs 100.94 respectively. Let us inform that state-run fuel seller companies have not increased the prices of petrol and diesel since March 22. Prior to this, the prices of petrol and diesel have been increased 14 times, in which their prices have been increased by up to Rs 10 per liter.

The reason for the increase given by the government

The central government said that due to the large increase in the prices of crude oil in the international market, the prices of petrol and diesel are increasing in the country. However, fuel prices in India have not been reduced due to lower crude oil prices in the international market. Not only petrol-diesel, the prices of CNG have also been increased in India and the drivers of Delhi-Mumbai are now getting more expensive compressed natural gas. It is worth noting that the price of petrol and diesel has now become a big problem for the common people, in such a situation, the government has not announced any reduction in the tax on them.
