A close associate of the actor had received an email which made reference to a recent interview by jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, wherein he claimed that his life’s goal was to kill the actor.
The Mumbai Police have registered a case against gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar in connection with the threat email to Salman Khan.
Meanwhile, the security outside Salman Khan’s residence has been beefed up in the wake of fresh threats to the Bollywood actor.
What did the e-mail say?
The threat mail was sent on Saturday to Prashant Gunjalkar, who is a close associate of Salman Khan. The sender was revealed to be one Rohit Garg. Salman Khan’s team filed a police complaint against Garg, Goldie Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi for sending threatening e-mail.
