मणिपुर में हालात सुधर नहीं रहे हैं। वहां दिन प्रति दिन हिंसा बढ़ती ही जा रही है। इस बीच, गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने मणिपुर की स्थिति पर चर्चा के लिए 24 जून को नई दिल्ली में सर्वदलीय बैठक बुलाई है। गृह मंत्रालय के प्रवक्ता ने बुधवार को ट्वीट कर यह जानकारी दी। यह बैठक दिल्ली में शनिवार को दोपहर बाद 3 बजे होगी।

असम के मुख्यमंत्री हिमंत बिस्व सरमा ने बुधवार शाम को गृह मंत्री से मुलाकात की, इसके बाद सर्वदलीय बैठक बुलाने की घोषणा की गई। सरमा राजग के नॉर्थ ईस्ट डेमोक्रेटिक अलायंस (एनईडीए) के संयोजक भी हैं। उन्होंने एक पखवाड़े पहले इंफाल का दौरा किया था और मणिपुर के मुख्यमंत्री एन बीरेन सिंह और कई राजनीतिक नेताओं से मुलाकात की थी।
