Famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead

Sidhu Moosewala Murder Well-known singer of Punjab, Sidhu Moosewala has been shot dead. The attackers hurled abuses at them. Two people have also been injured in the attack. The incident took place in Mansa district.

Jnn, Mansa. The murder of Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moosewala (Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu), who promoted gun culture through his songs, has created a stir in Punjab. Unknown assailants opened fire on him in Jawaharke village of Mansa. It is being told that about 30 bullets were fired at Sidhu Musewala. Punjab DGP VK Bhavra said that the Lawrence Bishnoi group has taken the responsibility of killing Sidhu Musewala.

Goldie Brar, a gangster sitting in Canada of Lawrence Bishnoi Group, has taken responsibility for this. Moosewala’s manager Shaganpreet’s name had cropped up in the SAD leader Vicky Middukheda murder case. This incident is believed to be his reaction. Bhavra said that when Musewala left his house, two vehicles came from front and back on the way and fired at his vehicle and when he was taken to the hospital, he was declared brought dead. It seems to be a case of mutual enmity.

Bhavra said that the investigation of the matter is going on and on the orders of the Chief Minister, I have been asked to make the IG Range SIT. From the cartridges recovered from the spot, it seems that three different weapons have been used. Apart from IG range, SSP of Mansa and Bathinda also reached the spot.

On the other hand, AAP MLA Saurabh Bharadwaj said that he was going somewhere in his private vehicle without his safety when the murder took place. We are probing whether his accomplices were involved in the incident as only they knew that Sidhu Musewala was without security.

Faridkot IG PK Yadav said that the attackers left their car and fled. We have got some clues on which we are probing. We hope to get some arrests soon. We have also constituted SIT which will investigate the matter daily.

After the murder of Sidhu Musewala in Mansa, both the jails of the city and the district have been put on high alert. Two members of the Bishnoi gang lodged in the Central Jail have been separated from the rest. The Central Jail was already on alert due to the closure of Akali leader Bikram Singh Majithia and former Congress state president Navjot Singh Sidhu, but after the murder of Moosewala, special surveillance is being kept on the gangsters.

Apart from members of the group of other gangsters including Sekhon, Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, members of the Bishnoi group are lodged in the jail. IG Mukhwinder Singh Chhina said that instructions have been given to all the officers for checking. During the high alert, security has been beefed up at major intersections of the city including all the entry points of the district. Heavy police force has been deployed at the entry points from Sangrur side. After the murder of Musewala, Bolero, Alto and Scorpio vehicles have been taken under suspicion. It is suspected that the accused of murder are absconding in these vehicles.

Seriously injured Sidhu Musewala was taken to the Civil Hospital in Mansa, where he was declared brought dead. Two other people were also injured in the attack, who have been admitted to the hospital. Sidhu Musewala himself was driving the vehicle at the time of the deadly attack. In the preliminary investigation, fingers of suspicion are being raised towards the gangster Lawrence Bishnoi Group regarding the attack on Sidhu Musewala.

A total of three people were brought to the hospital, out of which Sidhu Moose Wala died. After first aid, both the injured have been referred to a higher institution for further treatment.

Questions set to arise on Punjab Police

The incident took place in Mansa district. Here unidentified assailants fired at Moosewala, who was driving a Mahindra jeep. The critically injured Musewala was rushed to a hospital in Mansa, where he could not be saved. His murder is sure to raise questions on the functioning of the Punjab Police.

The government had reduced security a day before

Let us inform that the AAP government led by Bhagwant Mann had reduced the security of Sidhu Musewala on Saturday itself. Musewala earlier had around 8 to 10 gunmen. Taking action, Mann Sarkar had left only 2 gunmen with him. It is not yet clear whether the gunman was with him at the time of the murder.
