नई दिल्ली : सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के बैंक ऑफ महाराष्ट्र (Bank of Maharashtra) का शुद्ध लाभ 31 मार्च को समाप्त बीते वित्त वर्ष 2022-23 की चौथी तिमाही में दोगुना से अधिक होकर 840 करोड़ रुपये पर पहुंच गया। फंसे कर्ज में कमी और ब्याज आय में बढ़ोतरी से बैंक का मुनाफा बढ़ा है।

बीओएम ने सोमवार को शेयर बाजारों को भेजी सूचना में यह जानकारी दी। इससे पिछले वित्त वर्ष यानी 2021-22 की मार्च तिमाही में बैंक ने 355 करोड़ रुपये का शुद्ध लाभ कमाया था। बैंक की कुल आय भी आलोच्य तिमाही में 3,949 करोड़ रुपये से बढ़कर 5,317 करोड़ रुपये हो गई।

इस दौरान उसकी ब्याज आय भी बढ़कर 4,495 करोड़ रुपये रही। एक साल पहले की इसी अवधि में यह 3,426 करोड़ रुपये थी। बैंक की सकल गैर-निष्पादित परिसंपत्तियां (एनपीए) 31 मार्च, 2023 तक घटकर कुल ऋण का 2.47 प्रतिशत रहीं। 31 मार्च, 2022 तक यह 3.94 प्रतिशत रही थीं। इस दौरान बैंक का शुद्ध एनपीए भी 0.97 प्रतिशत से घटकर 0.25 प्रतिशत रह गया। (एजेंसी)
