7th Pay Commission: Good News For Uttarakhand Govt Employees, Their Dearness Allowance Hiked to 28%, Salary Will Increase From Sept 1

The declaration comes as a major comfort for around 1,60,000 government workers and almost 1,50,000 beneficiaries who will profit from it.

Here comes a piece of uplifting news for the government workers of Uttarakhand, the state government on Wednesday expanded their Dearness Allowance to 28 percent. The state government made the declaration in such manner and said the DA climb will become effective from September 1.

“Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has declared to lift the stop on the installment of dearness remittance (DA) to its representatives; the expanded 28% DA will be given from September,” the central priest’s office said in a proclamation.

Making the declaration, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said the expanded DA will be paid with impact from July 1 alongside back payments.
