Tibetan women took out protest rally against China

On the 65th anniversary of the Tibetan Women’s Uprising Day, women of the Tibetan community took out a rally raising slogans against China. On Tuesday, women gathered at the parade ground on the call of Tibetan Women’s Association (Central). From here, a rally was taken out from Tibetan Market to Lansdowne Chowk via Survey Chowk. Holding placards and flags in their hands, women raised slogans against China.

Jagran correspondent, Dehradun. On the 65th anniversary of the Tibetan Women’s Uprising Day, women of the Tibetan community took out a rally raising slogans against China. On Tuesday, women gathered at the parade ground on the call of Tibetan Women’s Association (Central). From here, a rally was taken out from Tibetan Market to Lansdowne Chowk via Survey Chowk. Holding placards and flags in their hands, women raised slogans against China.

The women said that March 12, 1959 was a historic day in the history of Tibetan women. When she gathered on the grounds outside the Potala Palace in the capital Lhasa to protest against the cruelty and repression of the Chinese government.

A group of women were protesting against the illegal occupation of Tibet by Communist China. During this brutal repression, hundreds of Tibetan women were killed, while many were arrested, imprisoned, and beaten without any crime.

Said that the entire society stands in solidarity with all the martyrs. Said that today the time has come for the entire world to unite against the global dictator. If international pressure is not put on China to hold China accountable, the human rights situation in the states seized by China will worsen.
