After almost four months of rain last year, Chopta received the first good snowfall of this season on Thursday. One and a half to two feet of snow fell from Makkuband to Chopta. In such a situation, nature had covered all sides with a white blanket, due to which the place is becoming a picturesque place. Tourists started arriving here only during snowfall.

By late evening one thousand tourists had reached here. There was bright sunshine throughout the day on Friday, so the snow is melting, but the entire area is still covered in snow. Here, after the snowfall, the glow on the faces of the businessmen has also returned.

There was silence in the entire area during winter. There was light snowfall once or twice in December last year and January this year, which melted as soon as the sun came out, but now there has been heavy snowfall, due to which the entire area has regained its glory. Due to this, the business has also started gaining momentum. We have received bookings till 11th February. -Mukul Maithani, Director, Fuel Camp Baniyakund.

Business was ruined due to lack of snowfall in winter, but now after snowfall, tourists have started arriving here. If there is snow in the coming days, business will also gain momentum.

As soon as the doors of Kedar Tungnath closed, the business also came to a standstill. The remaining hopes were lost due to the weather, but now there has been good snowfall in the area, due to which tourists have also started arriving here. Now local traders will also benefit from nature’s gifts.
