Martyr Major Major Pranay Negi body reached home

As soon as the body of martyr Major Pranay Negi reached his home in Bhaniyawala, his family members started crying. During this, hundreds of people reached out to pay tribute to him. body of martyr Major Pranay Negi was taken to Haridwar. A Major resident of Sangatiawala village of Bhaniyawala in Dehradun district was martyred while on duty at high altitude in Leh. There was an uproar in the family after hearing the news of the Major’s martyrdom.

Major Pranay Negi (36), son of Sudarshan Negi posted in 18 Artillery Battalion, was on duty in Leh. On Tuesday morning, Major Pranay’s family got information from the Army Headquarters that he had been martyred due to ill health.

As soon as the news of the Major’s martyrdom was received, there was chaos among the family members. The Major’s relatives and the people around went to the martyr Major’s house and consoled the family members.

The martyred Major was the eldest of three siblings. The Major got married three years ago. He has a one-and-a-half-year-old son. According to Uncle Narendra Negi, the Major was martyred when his health deteriorated due to a lack of oxygen during deployment at a high altitude in Leh.

Pranav Negi passed out from IMA in 2013 and became a lieutenant in the army. He was originally a resident of Thati Dangar village Kirtinagar Tehri.

Major Pranav’s grandfather was also in the army, while his father worked in the hotel line and got all three children educated in the prestigious schools of Mussoorie.
