Heli service for Kedarnath Dham starts from today
Kedarnath Heli Service: Chief Executive Officer and Commissioner of Devasthanam Management Board, Garhwal Ravinath Raman told that e-passes will also be issued to the passengers visiting Kedarnath through Heli service after registering.
Air service has started for Kedarnath Dham from Friday. DGCA’s permission has been obtained to operate the heli service. Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA) has completed all the preparations.
UCADA CEO Swati Bhadauria said that the heli service for Kedarnath has started operating from Guptkashi, Phata and Sirsi helipads from October 1. For this, all the preparations have been made at all the three helipads.
The passengers going to Kedarnath by heli service are also being followed strictly by the Kovid protocol. After inspecting the helipads, permission has also been given from DGCA to operate the heli service. The booking of tickets for the Heli service is being done on the website.
