Dehradun today on Hanuman Jayanti, Sunderkand will be recited

Grand programs will be organized today on Hanuman Janmotsav in Doon. Grand decorations have been made in the temples for this. Shobha Yatra will be taken out at many places in the city, and along with the recitation of Sunderkand, other religious programs will be organized in the temples. Bhandara will also be organized at many places in the city.

Hanuman Janmotsav will be celebrated with great pomp in the capital Doon on Tuesday. At Shri Balaji Dham in Jhajra, 11 and a quarter maunds of laddu will be prepared and offered as prasad. Along with this, a gold robe will be offered to Hanumanji here. Hanumanji will be worshipped at Shri Prithvinath Mahadev Temple in Doon.

Apart from this, a silver robe will be offered to Panchmukhi Sindooriya Hanumanji seated in the temple. 51 kg of tricolor laddu will be offered to Hanumanji here. Hanumanji will be made to wear a new robe at Shri Sanatan Dharma Temple in Premnagar. After this, gram flour and boondi laddus will be offered as prasad.

Sundarkand recited on the evening

Sunderkand was recited on the eve of Hanuman Janmotsav at Shri Dholeshwar Mahadev Mandir in village Dholas. Here, Pandit Kamal Joshi conducted the Puja under the guidance of Acharya Dr. Bipin Joshi. Before this, a vermilion robe was offered to Dakshinmukhi Shri Hanuman Ji installed in the temple and he was adorned with new clothes and ornaments. A Shobha Yatra was taken out in Nehru village on behalf of Shiv Sena. In this, Shiv Sainiks chanted Jai Shri Ram.

Sunderkand recitation in Ekadasmukhi Hanuman Temple

Dehradun. On the eve of Hanuman Janmotsav, Sundarkand was recited at Ekadasmukhi Hanuman Temple located in Jamunwala, Dehradun. Worship was performed here before this.

After this, the recitation of Sunderkand started in the evening. After the recitation of Sunderkand, Aarti was performed in the temple. After this, Prasad was distributed to the devotees. 

Hanumanji’s 365 quintal statue is installed in Shri Tapkeshwar temple

Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple has a 365-quintal statue of south-facing Shri Hanuman Ji in a blessing pose. The temple’s founder Acharya Dr. Bipin Joshi said that it took one year to make this statue. One and a quarter lakh names of Ram written on Bhojpatra have also been dedicated inside the statue. On Hanuman Janmotsav, this 31-foot-tall statue of Hanuman Ji will be anointed with flowers.
