The purpose of these incidents is that by committing crimes in Jammu region, India has to reduce the huge force and tight security deployed in Kashmir. Communal tension spread across the country due to attacks in the Hindu-dominated Jammu division. Due to this, a bus of pilgrims was attacked on 9 June in the Reasi district. The day of oath-taking in Delhi was deliberately chosen for that attack. In connection with that incident, the state police have questioned nearly 80 people.
