According to sources, another reason for such incidents is the impact of the increasing tourism in the state. The 52-day Amarnath Yatra is also scheduled to begin from 29 June this month. Even today, Kashmiri Hindus are travelling in buses for the annual puja at Shri Kheer Bhavani temple in Srinagar. Strict arrangements have been made for today’s yatra. Continuous meetings are also being held to make strict arrangements for the Amarnath Yatra.

After the terrorist attack in Reasi on Sunday, the terrorists attacked again on Tuesday and Wednesday. This time their target was the Kathua and Doda areas, however, the alert army killed two terrorists. During this, a CRPF jawan was martyred. The martyred jawan has been identified as Constable Kabir Das of 121 Battalion. After the encounter that lasted from Tuesday to Wednesday night in Kathua and Doda districts, the army is conducting a search operation in search of the terrorists. ADGP Anand Jain said that the terrorists first attacked in Hiranagar of Kathua on Tuesday. The encounter continued till Wednesday, in which two terrorists were killed and one jawan was martyred.

According to the information, a person in Saida Sukhal village of Hira Nagar sector in Kathua district asked for drinking water from a house. Considering him and his companion as suspicious outsiders, people informed the security forces. The forces also reached immediately in this sector which is considered a relatively plain area. A terrorist attack with a hand grenade in the house itself. One terrorist was killed in the firing by the forces who reached there. His companion escaped. After chasing him, the encounter continued throughout the night and in the morning as well. The fleeing terrorist also fired at the car of a DIG. The car has been hit by bullets and that officer and his soldiers are safe.

Sources said that a CRPF jawan was injured in the encounter in Hira Nagar sector. He died later. Meanwhile, terrorists opened fire on Chhatarnal checkpost in Doda district of Jammu division. Five jawans of Rashtriya Rifles and one APO are reported to be injured in the incident. There too, an encounter was going on after chasing the terrorists. Meanwhile, one lakh rupees of cash, arms, and some documents were found in the possession of the terrorist killed in Hira Nagar.

Intelligence and security sources say that these terrorist incidents are happening due to the frustration of Pakistani agency ISI and terrorists. The terrorists were targeting the elections in the state, but the nearly 60% voting has increased the panic across the border.

The purpose of these incidents is that by committing crimes in Jammu region, India has to reduce the huge force and tight security deployed in Kashmir. Communal tension spread across the country due to attacks in the Hindu-dominated Jammu division. Due to this, a bus of pilgrims was attacked on 9 June in the Reasi district. The day of oath-taking in Delhi was deliberately chosen for that attack. In connection with that incident, the state police have questioned nearly 80 people. A sketch of a suspected terrorist has been released. A reward of Rs 20 lakh has been announced for the person giving information about the terrorists.
