Who will become a minister in the Yogi government this time?
Lucknow/Delhi: Under the leadership of CM Yogi Adityanath, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) along with its allies won 273 seats in the North Legislative Assembly elections and secured an absolute majority. After the victory in the election, now the discussion about the cabinet has intensified. Regarding this, today (March 11) CM Yogi Adityanath and many other leaders including BJP state president Swatantra Dev Singh can go to Delhi, where the names of ministers can be discussed.
The names of ministers will be stamped in Delhi
After getting a thumping majority in Uttar Pradesh, there will be a meeting between the top leaders of the UP BJP and the party in Delhi. According to party sources, the names to be included in the cabinet will be approved with the consent of senior BJP and RSS functionaries.
These MLAs can join Yogi cabinet
UP BJP President Swatantra Dev Singh and MLA from Agra Rural Babyrani Maurya can be included in the cabinet of CM Yogi Adityanath. Apart from this, MLA from Kannauj and former ADG Asim Arun, former Joint Director of Enforcement Directorate and MLA Rajeshwar Singh from Sarojini Nagar seat of Lucknow can get a place in the cabinet. Along with this, BJP’s state vice president and MLC Arvind Kumar Sharma can also be included in the cabinet.
BJP can make him Deputy Chief Minister in UP
Like the last time in Uttar Pradesh, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) can make two Deputy Chief Ministers this time too. In the Yogi cabinet, BJP state president Swatantra Dev Singh and newly elected MLA from Agra Rural, Babyrani Maurya, can be given the responsibility of the deputy chief minister’s post. Let us inform that Babyrani Maurya has also been the Governor of Uttarakhand.
1-2 MLAs of Nishad Party and Apna Dal will become minister
The MLAs of Nishad Party and Apna Dal can also be given a place in the Yogi Cabinet. Nishad Party President Sanjay Nishad can be made a minister, while the MLAs of Apna Dal can also be given a place in the cabinet. According to sources, one to two ministers can be made from both the parties.
BJP won 255 seats
In the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections, the Election Commission declared the election results for 403 seats late in the night, in which the Bharatiya Janata Party along with its allies won 273 seats and got an absolute majority. In the election, BJP won 255 seats, while Apna Dal got 12 and Nishad Party got 6 seats. At the same time, the main opposition Samajwadi Party of the state has won 111 seats. SP’s ally Rashtriya Lok Dal has won eight seats and Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party has won six seats. According to the Election Commission, BJP got 41.29 percent votes, while Samajwadi Party got 32.06 percent and Bahujan Samaj Party got 12.88 percent votes.
CM Yogi won, Keshav Prasad Maurya lost
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (Yogi Adityanath win from Gorakhpur Sadar) won the Gorakhpur City Legislative Assembly seat by a margin of more than one lakh votes. However, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya lost the election in Sirathu seat of Kaushambi district by more than seven thousand votes.
