The Education Minister has instructed the officials to start the teacher recruitment process. He said counseling should be conducted on the same day in all the state districts so that a candidate cannot apply from two places for teacher recruitment.
Counseling will be held on the same day in all districts for the recruitment of more than three thousand posts of assistant teachers in primary schools in the state. Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, in a meeting held at his residence in Yamuna Colony, directed the officials to start the recruitment process soon.
The Education Minister said counseling should be conducted on the same day in all the state districts so that a candidate cannot apply from two places for teacher recruitment. Applications should be sought from the candidates for recruitment soon. The minister also sought information about the recruitment of Assistant Teacher LT. In this regard, he spoke to the Chairman of the Subordinate Services Selection Commission.
The transfer of basic and secondary teachers was also discussed in the meeting. The Education Minister said, the transfer process should be completed soon and eligible teachers should be transferred. The Education Department has made changes in the service rules for basic teachers.
After this, candidates who have done B.Ed and D.El.Ed from NIOS will not be able to apply in the upcoming recruitment—only candidates who have done D.El.Ed from District Education and Training Institutes will be eligible for teacher recruitment.
