Uttarakhand: People sending gas cylinders from India to Nepal will be banned
In Uttarakhand, there is about 250 km border with Nepal. Many people in the border area are doing their business while living in India with dual citizenship and are also taking benefits of Indian schemes. Now there will be a ban on sending gas cylinders to Nepal using India’s Aadhar and Ration cards.

Along with the people availing the benefits of the schemes in India while having dual citizenship, now such people will also be detected who have got Aadhaar cards and ration cards made by giving wrong facts. Along with canceling such Aadhaar and ration cards, action will be taken against the officers and employees who helped make them.
Aadhar Card, Ration Card, and Citizenship will be checked

The government has now decided to investigate such cases. Aadhaar cards, ration cards, citizenship, etc. of the people in the border area will be checked.
Fraudsters are being identified
Additional District Magistrate Shivkumar Baranwal said on Friday that those making Indian Aadhaar cards and ration cards by giving wrong facts in the border area are being identified. Action will be taken against those who take Indian gas, cheap ration etc. from India to Nepal by making wrong documents. He said that a family living in Jhulaghat was found to have dual citizenship and Indian Aadhaar card and other documents. On the instructions of the District Magistrate, the Sub-District Magistrate is investigating it.
