Ramlala resided in his abode in Ayodhya for 500 years

Ram Mandir Opening: Ayodhya-like joy was visible at every step regarding the consecration of the idol of Ramlala in Ayodhya and the enthusiasm of Ram devotees was making one feel the reflection of Shri Ram in every particle. During this festive season, the cold wave was also at its peak as if it was swinging in the enthusiasm of Ram’s devotion. Along with the sun, the clouds were also eager to witness these divine and grand moments.

Jagran correspondent, Dehradun. Ram Mandir Ayodhya: After a wait of 500 years, the land of gods rejoiced when Lord Ram sat in his abode in Ayodhya. Deepotsav was celebrated from the valley to the mountains and from the city to the China border. The city and villages were illuminated with colorful lights and there were echoes of Shri Ram’s praises everywhere. The restrictions of caste, religion, and age became secondary.

Ayodhya-like joy was visible at every step and the enthusiasm of Ram devotees was making one feel the reflection of Shri Ram in every particle. In this festive season, the cold wave was also at its peak, as if it was swinging in the enthusiasm of devotion to Ram. Along with the sun, the clouds were also eager to witness these divine and grand moments and were making their presence felt from time to time. Despite the cold winds, the warmth of devotion to Ram in the atmosphere was not diminishing.

People immersed in Ram’s devotion decorated Vandanwar

People in Devbhoomi were excited for the last week to celebrate the consecration of Ramlala idol in Ayodhya. People immersed in Ram’s devotion had decorated the temple with obeisance. Streets, houses, shops, and offices were decorated with Ram flag, flower garlands, and colorful lights.

Fireworks with the echo of Shri Ram 

As soon as the dawn broke on Monday, everyone’s eyes were on the auspicious moment at which the Ramlala idol was to be consecrated. The hands of the clock were also eager to reach that moment. As soon as Lord Ram sat in his temple during Abhijeet Muhurta, everyone’s heart in Devbhoomi became happy and eyes became joyful. Conch shells were blown everywhere and fireworks started with the echo of Shri Ram everywhere.

Bhajan-kirtan, Sunderkand, and Ramcharit Manas recitation were performed in the temples. Processions of Shri Ram were taken out across the state. A large number of devotees reached the stores to receive the Prasad.

Late in the evening, Deepotsav was celebrated in various establishments including homes, temples, government, and private offices. Lord Ram was also honored with fireworks.

Festive atmosphere visible in Devbhoomi also

The festival was also celebrated at the winter seat of Char Dham, Yoga-Meditation Badri Temple Pandukeshwar and Narasimha Temple Joshimath in Chamoli district, Omkareshwar Temple Ukhimath in Rudraprayag district and Ganga Temple Mukhwa and Yamuna Temple Kharsali in Uttarkashi district.

In Kedarnath Dham, special worship was done by making Lord Ram sit on an ice rock. In Badrinath Dham, ITBP jawans, employees, and saints lit lamps at the lion gate of the temple. Arrangements were also made to show a live telecast of the ceremony held in Ayodhya by installing LEDs at various places in the state.

1.25 lakh lamps were lit in Garhmukteshwar

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami from Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple in the capital Dehradun joined the program organized in Ayodhya through the virtual medium. 2,100 lamps were lit at Shri Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple and 1.25 lakh lamps were lit at Garhmukteshwar in Nainital district. Harki Paidi in Haridwar and the banks of Ganga in Rishikesh were also illuminated with lamps.

In Pithoragarh district, grand establishment of Ram Darbar took place at Rameshwar Dham located on the confluence of Saryu, Ramganga, and Gupt Saraswati and at Askot, the capital of the Pal dynasty.

A grand Ganga Aarti took place at Sharda Ghat in Champawat. Here in the evening, under the leadership of BJP Minority Morcha District President Amjad Hussain, the Muslim community also showed enthusiasm by lighting 2200 lamps. When Ram Rath Yatra started in Bageshwar, the city of Lord Bagnath, it got a grand welcome at many places.
