The process of nomination for the new Speaker of Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly will start from Thursday. Nominations can be made till Friday afternoon and then the election for the post of president will be held on Saturday or Sunday. According to sources, the schedule of elections for the post of Speaker has been decided. It is known that the assembly session is to be held at the end of this month. In such a situation, the selection of the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly is necessary. 

Many names for the Deputy Speaker, 
who could not find a place in the cabinet, are also eyeing the chair of the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly. Among the MLAs whose names are running for the post of Deputy Speaker in the party, the names of Raipur MLA Umesh Sharma Kau, Rajpur MLA Khajandas etc. are in discussion.
