Before the ascension of Shri Jhande Ji, devotees thronged Sri Darbar Sahib and the streets of Doon on Friday. School and college congregations kept arriving continuously from Sri Darbar Sahib.

The historic fair of Doon will begin today with the hoisting of Shri Jhandeji. From the morning itself, a wave of faith surged in Darbar Sahib for the hoisting of Shri Jhandeji. The process of worship began at seven in the morning and the work of putting the cover on the flag has begun. This time, Harbhajan Singh, son of Hari Singh, a resident of Hoshiarpur, Punjab, has got the opportunity to put the Darshani cover.

Many devotees from all over the country have reached Doon for the fair. The process of mounting the flag will begin in the afternoon. Shrimahant Devendra Das Maharaj said that the person who walks on the path shown by the Guru experiences heaven on earth itself. During this, the devotees recited the Shabad of Shri Gururam Rai Maharaj.

devotees from the east were bidden adieu
from Darbar Sahib on Friday before Shri Jhande Ji Mela. Co-administrator of the fair, Vijay Gulati, said that as per the tradition of the fair before the ascension of Shri Jhande Ji, the devotees from the east were bidden adieu by distributing turbans, amulets, and Prasad.

Devotees thronged the roads, bhandaars were organized.
Before the hoisting of Shri Jhandeji, devotees thronged Sri Darbar Sahib and the roads of Doon. School and college congregations kept arriving continuously from Sri Darbar Sahib. Bhandaras were organized at many places on Saharanpur Road. A large number of devotees took the prasad in these. Today, during the fair, eight big and four small langars will be organized at Sri Darbar Sahib.

Sangats stayed at more than eight places
Sangats started arriving in Doon about a week ago. Arrangements have been made for the stay of these Sangats in more than eight schools of Shri Guru Ram Rai in Doon. Sangats have arrived from every corner of the country along with Punjab, Haryana, and UP for the historic fair. LED

screens installed, devotees will be able to watch live telecast
Five LED screens have been installed in the Sri Darbar Sahib premises during the fair. Along with this, the live telecast of the ascension of Shri Jhandeji and its process is being done on social media. 

Today’s program
– Shri Jhandeji was taken down from 7 am.
– Shri Jhandeji was bathed at 9 am.
– The process of putting the cover started at 10 am. First, a plain cover, then a chenille cover, and lastly a Darshani cover will be put on.
– The chenille cover will be put on by 1 pm.
– Shri Jhandeji will be put on from 2 to 4 pm.
