Dehradun Dog Show
On Sunday, the atmosphere was created at the Survey Stadium in Hathibarkala, Dehradun. Some were caressing the dog by taking it in their hands while others were busy photographing dogs of different breeds. The Dehradun Dog show is organized by the Doon Valley Canal Club.
This time in the dog show, more regular and cute dogs were seen than dreaded ones. There was a huge crowd of people at their stalls. Most of the people were seen taking selfies with these dogs. Breed dogs like Toy Pom, Toy Pump Dog, Chow-Chow, etc. were the center of attraction in this show.
Dogs of various breeds such as Belgian Melonis, Fox Terrier, Maltese, Welsh Corgi, Schnauzer, Cane Corso, Samoyed, Caviler King Charles Spaniel, Pekinese, Rampur Hound, Caravan Hound, Raja Palayam Hound, etc participated in the show.
A huge crowd of animal lovers was seen in this show. The names of the winners were announced late in the evening. Dog’s Tibetan Mastiff and Greyden breed dazzled. Around 300 dogs participated in the dog show. Earlier, the chief guest of IAS BVRC Purushottam inaugurated the programme.
Navneet Chowdhary, secretary of Doon Valley Canal Club, told that the dog show started around 10 am, but dog lovers started arriving in the early morning. During this, dog lovers from many states arrived with their dogs. Judges Stanley Shan (Singapore), and Yogesh Tuteja (Amritsar) tested the qualities of the dogs by making them walk on the catwalk. After which the winners were decided on the basis of talent.
He informed me that the 64th and 65th national-level dog show was organized on Sunday. In the dog show, a dog named Genghis of the Chao Chao breed won the hearts of people with its beauty and qualities. The specialty of this dog is that it is very beautiful to look at. Dogs of the Greyden breed and Tibetan Mastiff breed were the centers of attraction.
He impressed people a lot because of his height. Sanjay Duggal, who arrived from Gurugram in this show with a dog of Greyden breed, told that its price starts from 75 thousand. Which is up to two and a half lakh rupees. People from states like Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Delhi, Maharashtra, etc also participated in the show.
During the program people also set up stalls for the sale of dogs of different breeds. Where people shopped fiercely. Dogs ranging from eight thousand to five lakh rupees were sold here. It was told that a business of about Rs 10 lakh was done during this period.
