Arvind Kejriwal has been sent to Jail

Arvind Kejriwal has been sent to jail for 14 days in the alleged liquor scam in Delhi. He will stay in Jail No. 2 in Tihar. Preparations have been completed there. Earlier, the ED made a big disclosure in the court. ED said Kejriwal told during interrogation that Vijay Nair used to report to Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been sent to jail till April 15. Kejriwal was produced in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Monday after his ED custody ended. ED did not ask for further custody, after which the court decided to send him to jail in judicial custody for 15 days. During his appearance in Rouse Avenue Court, Arvind Kejriwal said, ‘Prime Minister, what he is doing is not good for the country.’ Kejriwal made it clear that he will not resign from the post of CM. Rather, he will run the government from jail.

Kejriwal will be kept in Tihar Jail, where the preparations have been finalized. High-level meetings have been going on in Tihar Jail for the last two days. Discussions were being held about Kejriwal. There was discussion on which barrack Kejriwal should be kept in if he comes to jail. He will stay in Jail Number 2. Kejriwal demanded 3 books from the court for study in jail. Kejriwal has demanded Ramayan, Geeta, and Neerja Chaudhary’s book How the Prime Minister Decide. Apart from this, he has sought permission to keep medicines in the jail.

Kejriwal has reached Tihar Jail. He will be kept in Jail No. 2, the same jail where his colleague and AAP leader Sanjay Singh was earlier kept. But before Kejriwal’s arrival, Tihar Jail officials held a high-level meeting and he was shifted to another barrack. Kejriwal’s other colleague and accused in the case Manish Sisodia is also kept in the same Tihar Jail. However, the chances of the three meetings are very low.
