On Thursday morning, a bus of passengers fell victim to an accident near Rishikesh Barrage Tirahe. There were 35 passengers on the bus, out of which 24 passengers were badly injured. The police pulled out 24 passengers by breaking the window of the vehicle.

The roadways bus coming from Tanakpur to Rishikesh overturned uncontrollably near Bhimgoda Barrage Tirahe of Chila Chowki area. The bus went out of control while trying to save the car coming from Rishikesh. On information, the police team reached the spot.
