A sack with a woman’s body in it has been found in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut. Police suspect a man carrying a gunny bag, who was caught on a surveillance camera.

By Usman Chaudhary: A sack stuffed with a woman’s body was found at Jamuna Nagar in Meerut’s Kharkhoda. While checking CCTV footage from the nearby areas, police spotted a man carrying a gunny bag on his shoulders and roaming around the streets.

Police said the body of the 30-year-old woman was recovered in a semi-naked condition.

They said a CCTV clip has surfaced in which a man can be seen roaming the streets with a bag on his shoulder. He can be seen trying to dispose of the bag. Police recovered the body and sent it for autopsy.

Police said the deceased is yet to be identified.

Meerut Circle Officer Rupali Rai Chaudhary said, “This morning there was information about the discovery of an unknown woman’s body in the Kharkhoda police station area. Advance legal action is being taken.”
