Wangchuk, who was on a hunger strike over several issues related to Ladakh, made objectionable remarks on Lord Shri Ram

Environmentalist Sonam Wangchuk is quite viral on social media these days. He compared BJP to Ram for not accepting the demands of Ladakh and made an objectionable statement about Sita and Shri Ram. Which is now being condemned everywhere. Actually Wangchuk is on a fast unto death on many issues including inclusion of Ladakh in the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution.

State Bureau, Jammu. Environmentalist Sonam Wangchuk, who is on a hunger strike in Leh over various issues including inclusion of Ladakh (Ladakh News) in the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution, targeted the BJP and made objectionable remarks on Lord Shri Ram regarding Sita. His statement is being condemned from all sides.

Sonam, who has been on a hunger strike in Leh for the last 14 days, releases his videos on the internet media every day. He is currently preparing for a border march in the coming days to demand statehood and to make Ladakh a union territory with an assembly.

In an interview during his hunger strike, Wangchuk compared the BJP (BJP News) to Ram for not accepting the demands of Ladakh and used objectionable words against Sita. He has said that the BJP had promised to fulfill the demands of the people of Ladakh first in the Lok Sabha elections (Lok Sabha Election 2024) and then in the Leh Hill Development Council elections, which has now been forgotten.

During this time, he made objectionable remarks about Lord Ram and Sita Mata. This statement is being condemned on the internet media. Referring to Ladakh becoming a Union Territory, Sonam said that in 2019, the people of Ladakh were very grateful to the Modi government.

But today their situation is like falling from the sky and getting stuck in a date palm. BJP has left Ladakh open for industrialists and mining lobby. They say that in the Lok Sabha elections we will support the party that will fulfill our demands. We can also bring our independent candidate.
