Technical Education Minister Subodh Uniyal has called for a report on the Government Polytechnic case at Pipli in Uttarkashi district. Even after spending three crores released in two installments in 2015 and 2018 to UP Construction Corporation, the executive body for the polytechnic institute, no work has been done on the ground in eight years.

Soon a meeting of departmental officers and the executive body will be called in this regard. A case will be filed against the officials of UP Nirman Nigam for not starting the work on the proposed schemes.

Taking the matter seriously, Technical Education Minister Subodh Uniyal has also called for a report from the departmental officers. He says that many such cases have come to our notice. Will hold a meeting soon in this regard. Officers of the executive body UP Construction Corporation will also be called to the meeting. Instructions will be given to the executive body to start work on the proposed schemes immediately. He instructed that a case would also be filed for not starting the work.
