Uttarakhand Air Quality Alert
The air quality in the area around Rishikesh has reached 51 AQI. Here, changes have been seen in the amount of soluble particles in the air in the last few days. PM 2.5 and PM 10 are at warning levels in Kashipur. Due to this, the air quality here is gradually becoming poisonous.
According to the data of the Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board (UKPCB), at present the air of the capital Dehradun is breathable. However, people suffering from respiratory problems may face some problems here. The air quality level of the capital is 81 AQI. Whereas, Kashipur is at a warning level of 165 AQI.
In fact, currently, equipment for testing AQI i.e. air quality is installed at only a few places in the state. Through these, real-time AQI is also available online at an interval of one hour. According to him, AQI in Dehradun was 81 on Sunday. AQI was recorded around this at most places in the city.
The air quality is gradually becoming poisonous.
This is not a better situation, but a satisfactory one. According to UKPCB data, the level of PM 2.5 and PM 10 here is also satisfactory. Whereas, ozone, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur, and carbon monoxide are in better condition. That is, their quantity in the air is as per the standards and will not have any harmful effect on human health.
