New Delhi. HMD Global has launched a new feature phone designed for Africa. The model has been dubbed as the Nokia 105 African Edition and appears to be similar to the model launched in 2019. Nokia 105 was first introduced in 2019 and the company introduced a new version equipped with 4G connectivity last year. This new model has nothing in common but retains the durable design for which the company’s phones are known.
Nokia 105 Specifications
The Nokia 105 African Edition comes with a 1.77-inch QVGA screen and pre-installed 10 games including the popular Snake. It equally packs a rear shell made of polycarbonate.
The feature phone is powered by a Unisoc 6531E processor paired with 4MB of RAM. You also have 4MB of storage space. The phone series runs on S30+ OS and supports only 2G connectivity.
Nokia 105 Battery
The Nokia 105 packs an 800 mAh battery which is said to last for 18 days and can keep the device running if you are on a call for 12 hours. The battery can be charged via the microUSB connector while there is a built-in flashlight on the top edge. Nokia also says that the device’s memory can hold up to 2000 contacts and 500 text messages.
Nokia 105 Price
The Nokia 105 is the best selling feature phone in the world and we expect Nokia to continue to retain the crown. The price and availability details of this new edition are not known at the moment. However, the Nokia 105 African Edition will soon retail across Africa.
