Ahead of Yami Gautam’s Article 370 release, PM Narendra Modi gave a shoutout to the film during his recent speech. During his Jammu visit, PM Modi addressed a large crowd and mentioned Article 370. In response, Yami thanked the PM. Yami Gautam will be next seen in her film, Article 370 as an intelligence officer which will be released on 23 February.

PM Modi said, “I have heard that a film on Article 370 is going to be released this week… It is a good thing as it will help people in getting correct information.”

Meanwhile, Yami wrote on X, “It is an absolute honor to watch PM Narendra Modi Ji talk about “Article370Movie. My team and I hope that we all exceed your expectations in bringing this incredible story to the screen,”.
PM Modi also urged people to grant his party 370 seats in the upcoming Parliamentary elections, marking the significance of the Article 370 annulment in the state.

Article 370 is an action-packed political drama. In the film, Yami is portraying an intelligence officer. Besides her, the film also has Priyamani in the lead. The makers of the film recently unveiled the trailer. Going by the trailer, the film will showcase terrorism and corruption in Jammu and Kashmir. Yami, in the clip, referred to Kashmir as a ‘lost case’ and expressed her frustration as the special status of the state is seen as making it impossible for her to fulfill her duty. The film is also shown to highlight the emergence of terrorism in the region.
Article 370 is directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale. It is backed by Jyoti Deshpande, Yami’s husband, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar. It is slated to release on February 23.

He also said that after the abrogation of Article 370, a new wave of development has arrived in Jammu and Kashmir and the people of Jammu are getting its direct benefit. Dhami was addressing a public meeting in support of the BJP candidate from the Bani assembly constituency Jeevan Lal on Wednesday.

He said that Shyama Prasad Mukherjee gave the supreme sacrifice for ‘Ek Desh, Ek Vidhan and Ek Nishan’ and his dream was fulfilled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The CM said that the Vidhan Sabha elections in Jammu and Kashmir are historic. He said work in the fields of road, health, education, railways, and power is being done at a fast pace in Jammu and Kashmir. He expressed confidence that people will vote BJP to power in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dhami added that the number of tourists visiting Jammu and Kashmir has increased two and half times. Now there is ‘minimum terrorism and maximum tourism’ in Kashmir. He said that on one hand PM Modi is giving the guarantee of a safe and prosperous Jammu and Kashmir and on the other, the Congress, PDP, and National Conference (NC) will bring back Article 370 and fan separatism in Kashmir. These parties have pushed Jammu and Kashmir in the slush of corruption. Cautioning the people from casting their votes for independent candidates, Dhami said that the elections are between three families and the youth of Jammu and Kashmir and he is confident that BJP will certainly come into power in Kashmir.
