Cabinet meeting today, many proposals including Uttarakhand Dharmaswa Tirthan Parishad may be approved
Proposals related to health, higher education, housing, and the forest department will be discussed in the meeting. The Health Department may propose to rationalize the user charge rates charged by patients in government hospitals.
The state cabinet meeting will be held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. A proposal from Uttarakhand Dharmaswa Tirthantan Parishad may come in the meeting for the smooth and safe conduct of the Chardham Yatra. The high-level committee formed for this had submitted its report to the Chief Minister.
The meeting will be held at the State Secretariat from 4 pm onwards. Proposals related to health, higher education, housing, and the forest department will be discussed in the meeting. The Health Department may propose to rationalize the user charge rates charged by patients in government hospitals.
Apart from this, the Housing Department’s proposal to include a provision in the District Level Development Authority regarding the necessity of passing maps in all civic areas of the state can also be discussed.
A proposal related to student union elections may also come into the cabinet. In the meeting, the proposal to give 50 percent reservation to female students in student union elections can be approved. Apart from this, proposals related to service manuals of forest, revenue, finance, legislative, and other departments will also come up for discussion.
