The All India Independence Cup, a prestigious martial arts tournament, was held at the Delhi Talkatora Stadium from August 1st to August 4th, bringing together talented players from all states across India. Among the participants, the students of Sokin Karate Academy from Uttarakhand, Dehradun, showcased exceptional skill and dedication, ultimately emerging as shining stars of the event and bringing glory to their home state of Uttarakhand. Their impressive performance yielded a total of five medals, with Digyantseth securing one gold and one bronze medal, Shatakshi Singh claiming a gold medal in the sub-junior category for 12 years and 42 kg weight, and Keshav Balodi winning two silver medals in the 7 years and above 25 kg weight category, making their academy and state proud of their remarkable achievements.
