Haldwani Lisa factory turned into a ball of fire, blazed for three hours
Fire broke out in a resin factory near Belbaba on Haldwani Rampur Road. The entire factory turned into a ball of fire. As the fire increased, fire brigade officials called fire engines from Rudrapur and Ramnagar. The fire was brought under control late at night. The fire brigade team will assess the damage caused by the fire on Wednesday. After this, the report will be sent to the District Magistrate.
Jagran Correspondent, Haldwani: Haldwani: Fire broke out in a resin factory near Belbaba on Rampur Road. The entire factory turned into a ball of fire in no time. Haldwani’s fire brigade team fell short of firefighting vehicles. Therefore, two additional fire engines were called from Rudrapur and one from Ramnagar.
The fire could be controlled by late night. Near Belbaba temple, Umesh Chandra Dalakoti has a paint factory named Dalakoti Paints and Chemicals. At quarter to six in the evening, the workers saw smoke rising from the factory. Initially, the workers tried to control the fire themselves.
Fire engines were called from Rudrapur and Ramnagar
When they did not succeed, they informed the fire department. Three fire engines from Haldwani reached the spot and tried to control the fire. The flames were not stopping. As the fire increased, fire officials called fire engines from Rudrapur and Ramnagar. The fire was controlled late at night. But by then the entire factory had been reduced to ashes.
Here, on receiving information about the fire, CFO Gaurav Kirar, City Magistrate AP Vajpayee, SDM Paritosh Verma, SP Crime Harbans Singh and Kotwal Umesh Malik, FSO Mindar Pal reached the spot with the team. After extinguishing the fire, the police and administration team returned. SDM Paritosh Verma said that the cause of the fire could not be ascertained. It will be investigated. The fire brigade team will assess the damage caused by the fire from Wednesday. After this, the report will be sent to the District Magistrate.
18 fire engines extinguished the fire
The fire was completely controlled after three hours. During this time, 18 fire engines sprayed water. 200 liters of foam was used. 12 times the fire engines went to the nearby stone crusher to fill water again. The high flames of the fire were visible from far away.
