This week, without a doubt, was high on fashion and glamour; thanks to our favourite B-Town celebrities who donned uber-chic looks for the Oscars 2023 and Lakme Fashion Week. But there were also others — like Mrunal Thakur to Rani Mukerji — who kept their everyday and promotional styles on point, which ensured that they made it to our list of best weekly looks! Sonakshi Sinha
Sonakshi Sinha looked drop dead gorgeous as the showstopper for designers Ridhi Bansal and Mohit Rai at the recently-concluded Lakme Fashion Week. The Akira actor wore a sequined bra top that was paired with a matching long skirt and a layered long cape. Allowing her blingy outfit to do all the talking, she ditched accessories and wore nude coloured lipstick and winged eyeliner. The actor’s nail were painted black and her hair was tied in chic faux hawk braid.
Rani Mukerji
Rani Mukerji, who is busy promoting her film Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway, kept it simple yet extremely elegant in a black sari by House of Masaba that had ‘Maa’ written on it in Devnaagri. Sharing Rani’s look, designer Masaba Gupta wrote on Instagram, “The most powerful word to exist. Rani Mukerji in The ‘Maa’ Sportee Saree is an ode to her latest outing as Mrs Chatterjee, a woman who fought a nation for her children • Inspired by a true story”. The actor opted for kohled-eyes, open wavy hair, brown lipstick and a small black bindi to complete the look.
Ananya Panday
Ananya Panday turned heads as the showstopper for designer Manish Malhotra’s show at the Lakmé Fashion Week in a black hand embroidered scoop neck heart gown with red and white detailing on it. Talking about the philosophy behind the attire, Manish shared on Instagram, “the collection aims at redefining the rules of fashion of being #UnapologeticallyMé with new age prints representing individuality, non-binary, fluidity and androgynous styles in tones of them and they”.

Mrunal Thakur looked like a vision in a pastel blue corset top with net detailings and a matching overflowing skirt with a slit in front. She also carried a matching dupatta and wore net gloves. For makeup, the actor opted for fuller looking eyebrows, blue eyeshadow, black winged eyeliner and nude lips. She also wore beautiful pearl danglers by Mahesh Notandass.
Sunny Leone looked party ready in a short silver glittery dress by Platinoir that had floral detailing on one side. Teaming the outfit with oversized silver hoops and rings, the actor tied her hair in a high ponytail and opted for soft glam makeup look. Sunny also added a pop of colour by painting her nails blue.
