First time in 50 years, water reaches Maharashtra village

A village in Maharashtra’s Ahmednagar received water for the first time in 50 years. People of the village rejoiced the moment water was pumped in.
Maharashtra’s Deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis tweeted about it, “Aur kya chahiye life mein”.
The Nilwande dam was opened and the water successfully traveled 85 km and into the village.
