Uttarakhand News: LP Joshi, Executive Director of Tehri Dam Project, has clarified on the possibility of flood from Tehri Dam. He has assured the people of the plains that there is no need to panic about Tehri Dam. Flood water is not allowed to enter the plains to protect lives and property. He dismissed the threat from Tehri Dam to Devprayag, Rishikesh, and Haridwar. The flood water from the upper area is held back in the Tehri Dam. He told that nowadays the level of Tehri Lake is 811 RL meters.
