PM Modi’s birthday was celebrated with several events organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party. The party on Sunday unveiled its ‘Seva Pakhwada’ (service period) special campaign. The “Seva Pakhwada” campaign consists of six events or activities that countrymen can participate in and by doing so send their best wishes to PM Modi on the occasion of his 73rd birthday. To sign up for any of these activities you need to log in to the “NaMo” app with your mobile number or email address.
The CM said the PM’s awareness, dedication, and leadership towards cleanliness inspires all of us, he said. He said the state government is launching Swachhata Pakhwada on the Prime Minister’s birthday, which will conclude on October 2. The chief minister said crores of toilets have been built across the country in the last ten years, and necessary facilities have been provided for waste management. Pushkar Singh Dhami said the state government has set a target of starting solid waste management facilities in all villages of Uttarakhand by March 2025. Currently, solid and liquid waste management works have been completed in 9,000 villages. Speaking at the inauguration of the ‘Swachhta Seva Pakhwada’, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, “The world’s attention is now on Uttarakhand.”
I am grateful to my ‘Swachhata Ambassadors’ whose commitment and efforts have written a new chapter of cleanliness in the state. The honour that the state has achieved would have been impossible if you had not tried, so I congratulate all of you,” CM Dhami said.
The Chief Minister said that efforts are being made to bring independence at the level of governance and administration. But this effort will be successful only when there is public participation in it. See, everyone has to try to make the village, city, and various places clean at their own level. Also, it has to be made a part of our daily life. The day independence comes in our nature, the state will also become clear from that day. Under the Swachhata Hi Seva Pakhwada, more than a thousand programs are being organized across the state today.
