In this episode, 2000 square feet of land will be made available free of cost to BSNL 4g launch for setting up mobile towers in villages. The cabinet has approved this proposal.
In the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, it was decided to install BSNL towers in the villages which are not covered by mobile connectivity. Actually, the state government is currently running many public welfare schemes. Telecom services have played an important role in making these schemes accessible to the common people with speed and ease. In view of this, the government is now reaching out to villages left out of telecom services. This step is being taken in this sequence. Along with this, the power supply will also be ensured in these allotted sites.
