The doors of Yamunotri and Gangotri Dham were opened on 22 April.

It may take some more time to touch the previous figures in Badrinath and Hemkund Sahib. Chardham Yatra started on 22nd April this year with the opening of the doors of Yamunotri and Gangotri Dham. The doors of Kedarnath were opened on 25th April and Badrinath Dham was opened on 27th April. Chardham Yatra was in full swing in May and June, but there was some slackness in it when the rains started in mid-July.

In August, travel was badly affected due to the blockage of travel routes in many places. Due to road blockage, the number of passengers in Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham remained zero for some days.
